KVM Research Laboratories
Background
KVM Research Laboratories was founded by Sri Madhusudan R. Damle, based on his over 50 years of experience in the different fields of Allopathy, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Veterinary sciences, and Agriculture.
With his integrated experiences in the various fields of science, on May 27, 1988 he set up the first unit of KVM Research Labs in Puducherry, India, and began researching and developing new Ayurvedic proprietary formulations after laboriously experimenting with various Ayurvedic herbs and traditional formulae.
In 1990, KVM first began exporting to the USA and other countries. The first product exported by KVM to the USA was the “HERBOMINERAL” Mud Bath & Mask under the Auromere brand name.

Founded on Yogic & Ayurvedic Principles
KVM’s Managing Director, Sri M.R.Damle or Damleji as he is fondly called, has founded his organization on the principles of Sri Aurobindo’s Integral Yoga philosophy according to which it is said “All life is Yoga” and “Yoga is skill in works (yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam)”. This philosophy has been incorporated into his research as well and as a result, Damleji has developed many new and innovative Ayurvedic proprietary formulations.
All formulations of KVM are 100% natural and do not contain any chemicals or preservatives and are harmless and safe to use for kids, as well as people with sensitive skin. KVM now has a full range of hair care, skin care, body care and face care products that are manufactured in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility using traditional and manual Ayurvedic techniques. At the same time, all the products are tested in government-approved analytical laboratories and developed after extensive clinical trials in Ayurvedic hospitals as per international norms.
KVM’s CEO, Mr. Sushrut Badhe and General Manager, Miss Avanti Badhe, are both disciples of Damleji and joined him in his life’s mission after getting inspired by the project in 2011 and 2015 respectively.
Midam Charitable Trust
In addition to the ongoing work of KVM, the Midam Charitable Trust was also founded by Sri M.R.Damle in 2011 with the aim of working for the betterment of society and its people through its projects of women empowerment, supporting education for children and development of therapies for children with special needs.

Autism Therapies
In 2012, Midam Trust started the Vedic Chants Intervention Program (VCIP) as a therapy for the management of children with Autism at Satya Special School in Puducherry. In 2014, in collaboration with the department of Genetics of Madras University, another research experiment was conducted and a poster was presented at the International Conference of Human Genetics in Ahmedabad and received an award in the “best therapeutics” category. The proceedings of the study were published in the acclaimed “Molecular Cytogenetics” journal and also indexed in the US National Library of Medicine. Midam continues to offer free therapy for the management of children with Autism and related neuronal disorders.
Empowering Women
The Midam Trust also organizes the Mahila Kalyan Nidhi for the empowerment of women in the Kothapurinatham village outside of Puducherry, also providing nutrition and educational assistance to school-going children in the same village.
Studies on the Bhagavad Gita
Additionally, Midam Trust has been teaching the principles of the Bhagavad Gita for school-going children so that they can identify the divinity within themselves through the “Krishna’s Butter Project – For Champion Students”. Midam Trust published a book for the class, authored by Dr. Bhawana Badhe under Damleji’s guidance in 2016. The book has since been translated from English into 5 regional languages and classes are being conducted at many schools.
During the recent pandemic period, the “Krishna’s Butter Project” went online in digital classrooms and in the last 4 months over 1000 children from India and abroad have enrolled for the teaching modules. New teachers have been trained and modules for classes in regional languages are being developed.
Bhagavad Gita sessions under the “Krishna’s Butter Project” exclusively for adults are also being conducted for participants from India and around the world. Mr. Sushrut Badhe, author of Bhagavad Gita: Rhythm of Krishna and India Book of Records Holder for rendering the Bhagavad Gita into rhymes, is conducting the classes for adults.
